Today we're announcing that Safeguard is available as a connector in Claude, listed in the Claude connectors directory. Any Claude Enterprise or Claude Platform customer can enable Safeguard from the connectors directory and bring their AI usage under the same continuous-compliance and governance controls we already apply across the software supply chain — in minutes, with no engineering work.
The integrations were announced by Anthropic on the Claude blog and the Claude for Business announcement; setup is documented in the Claude help center.
The connector is built on Claude's Compliance API. It gives security and compliance teams continuous, audit-ready visibility into how Claude is used across the organization — without ever touching the content of conversations. And because it runs on the Safeguard platform, that visibility lives in the same system of record your team already uses for SBOMs, dependencies, vulnerabilities, and compliance — not in yet another console.
The Problem: AI Adoption Is Outrunning Governance
Claude is now part of how enterprises write, research, analyze, and build. For the teams responsible for security and compliance, that adoption creates a familiar gap: usage grows faster than the controls around it.
